Artefact @ Western Washington University
olen April 8th, 2008
On April 3, 2008, we presented a lecture to the industrial design and graphic design students at Western Washington University on the topic “Is Industrial Design Dead? Thinking beyond form and function.” Olen Ronning, a graduate from the WWU Industrial Design program, presented along with Albert Tan on the evolution of products and society, how technology is changing the way we experience products, and how industrial design is evolving to design these new product experiences. A copy of the presentation is available on slideshare.
Thanks to Arunas Oslapas, head of the industrial design program, for inviting us to be a part of their lecture series!
